Back

I've had some personal issues and it's overwhelmed me.

I'll be more on top of writing in the future.

New Shoes

Last week didn't end very well. On Thursday my phone crapped out on
me so I couldn't post and Friday my older son had to go to the
hospital for taking acid.

Stinky to say the leased. We're trying to get him into a treatment
facility but so far my insurance won't cover residential.

Nap Time

After a good meal everyone needs to rest their eyes. This is one of
our P.A.'s catching a few zzzz's.

Saturday early

I know it's Saturday but we had a short day today and when I came home I started running errands.

Before I continue, "Happy Birthday to my Dad, Ken Whitmore, who turned 80 on Friday. My Dad was a professional photographer. He went to Egypt to photograph "The 10 Commandments" and stayed at Charlton Heston's apartment in New York. He won a Grammy for best album cover, a picture of Al Hirt, I can't recall the year. Dad always wanted to be a photographer and loved to shoot pictures. There aren't very many people who go to work and love what they do.

Here are a couple of photos from our Still Photographer, Frank Masi. Me with Dennis Quaid and Karolina Kurkova.

Have a great weekend and stay cool.

Be well

No Life

Here is an interesting and troubling fact about Downey Studios: There
are no animals. At almost every stage one will find rodents and
sometimes racoons in the perms. These are the permanent beams high
above the stage.

There are no insects either. When Boeing ran this place there was no
oversite by local government with regard to environmental concerns.
Some of the work was classified and it's fair to say no one from the
city was able to oversee what was done here.

There aren't even ants here and one finds ants everywhere. You can
leave food out over night and it will be untouched.

It is a little creepy when you think about it.

Be well.

The Arm

One of the bad guys is bitten by the Kink Cobra. Since there's enough
venom in this snake to kill up thirty
men or an elephant, a prostthetic arm (pictured).

producer, whoever.
