Insert Hell
of the Grips.
We're into the Plate Unit shots, this is pretty dull stuff though. I
found out from the UPM yesterday that Friday will be my last day.
I'll take the week of Christmas off and then I'll look for movie work
or get in some Lifeguarding days.

We still haven't completed principal photography last Friday, nor will
we finish today.

2/3 of the Sound Dept.
enjoying a few moments to themselves after lunch.
These guys sat in their truck most of the day before they recorded
sound. I usually hang out with Sound because Lee and his crew have
great stories to tell.

SFX & Standby Painter
Standby Painter. Both guys true professionals. They have been so
helpful and pleasant to work with.
Jesse doesn't remember my name so he calls me 'Medic' all the time.
I gotta tell you this about the movie biz, trying to relate the day-to-
day antics is a lot like trying to explain a dream the next morning.
It is the ultimate 'you should have been there' story.
Have a good day.
Be well

Producer
along. He started as a DGA (Director's Guild of America) trainee,
then an Assistant Director, Production Manager, and now Producer.
He knows how to keep the shooting day moving and that's what he's been
doing lately. You see, our DP (Director of Photography), takes a long
time to light a set.

Still Photographer
the photographer on a show because my father was a photographer. He's
still alive but he has Alzheimer's and Parkinson's so he can't shoot
anymore. He was the Still Photographer on "The Ten Commandments" for
C.B. DeMille.
